About DCA

Sodium Dichloroacetate

Sodium Dichloroacetate is a sodium salt of dichloroacetic acid (DCA). The dichloroacetic acid is of a highly acidic nature, so it is usually stored and sold as various salts which reduce acidity to an acceptable pH. These salts are called dichloroacetates. The most common of them is Sodium Dichloroacetate.

Sodium Dichloroacetate is a white color, soluble in water crystalline powder. The chemical formula is Cl2CHCOONa. It's a simple molecule which has many applications. Commonly used by laboratories and universities for research purposes and as a reagent for making various compounds.

Sodium Dichloroacetate (CAS No. 2156-56-1, EC No. 218-461-3) is not under patent, has no restrictions. Therefore it can be sold and transported without any regulations (check out Safety Data Sheet).

We produce and sell Sodium Dichloroacetate in various forms and packages. We offer capsules, powder and other DCA compounds. The DCA we sell is produced in our own laboratory.
